Custom Stamped Background Paper

If you have some stamps that coordinate with a theme you’re creating in your scrapbook or on a particular layout, then consider making your own background paper. Here I stamped a grey button on white paper for a layout in a quilting scrapbook I made. Despite questioning my sanity and decision-making abilities about half way through the first page (yes, “first,” as in there was a second page), I still think doing this is a great economical way of getting custom paper. In this case I used a very small stamp on a 12×12-inch piece of paper. I have done this with store bought cards to add a custom touch to my projects (see the simple design I stamped on my love bug card here) and it is easy every time.
