Salutation Page at Back of Album
The last page of an album can be a great place to put a summary type page. This page is the final page of an album commemorating a trip I took to visit my sister. It was a great opportunity to document my feelings that the trip ended too soon and that the special moments we shared are a treasure to me. I have sometimes found it difficult to decide what to put on the last page of an album. It seems that the story told by the pages in the album ends abruptly because there is no wrap up. Plus because I often create two-page layouts, the final page is already different in that there is only the one page. So it stands to reason that I might treat it differently than the pages in the center of the album that do have two pages facing one another. A salutation or summary to wrap up the album makes sense for me and for the readers of my albums. As far as embellishing a salutation page, I found it fitting to use the clock rub-on because I wrote about “the time” we spent together. Other types of embellishments could include a special word or image that became an inside joke or something extra memorable on a trip. How would you summarize your album?
