No project to share today…just my thoughts.

Today would have been my Gram’s 101st birthday. She isn’t with us any longer but I am certainly thinking about her.  She would have loved my husband and our home here in Tennessee. She would have loved the irises that bloom off my front porch every year.  I loved her dearly and my heart is heavy thinking of her but light thinking of her great sense of humor.

I think tonight is a perfect night to make something from the family cookbook she typed up 28 years ago…on her electric typewriter. Maybe I’ll make her famous spice cake.
